I am trying to avoid manually downloading and assigning Cover Art to each album. Since some of the tasks in managing a digital library are repetitive, Mp3tag allows for combining tasks into action groups, which serve as workflows for keeping consistency and order. So I have my tags set just like I like them to be but none of my music files have any Cover Art. I have searched the help topics but to no avail.
If I click OK then nothing happens - I see no cover art.
Open the function Actions (Quick) and select an action of the type 'Import cover from file'. Select the files for which you want to import covers. The Windows Explorer uses a hidden file called folder.jpg You can import picture files with an action. A form then pops up showing my file path and asking for Title, Album etc. In your case Id move the mp3 file out of the folder w/ spotify closed, open spotify make sure the local files tab updates and it is no longer present, then close spotify, edit the track to add the artwork, then add the file back to the spotify local file folder and finally open spotify and hope it works. MP3tag shows the covers that are embedded in the files. It offers renaming files based on the tag information, replacing characters or words in tags and filenames, importing tag information, and adjusting the size and image format of embedded cover art. If i select an mp3 track which does not have cover art, then click on Tag Sources and select MusicBrainz then MusicBrainz correctly identifies my album. Simply double click on the image you want. This will open a file selection window that will let you choose the image that you just downloaded, as shown here.

You can buy Mp3tag for Mac or check out the free 7-day trial. Then for the tracks that dont have embedded art, I can use MP3TAG to add art. There are thousands so a batch method is needed. So what I would like to do is embed all of the art Microsoft found into the corresponding mp3 files. I would like to keep it on a per track basis. Musicians, DJs, podcasters, and audio-enthusiasts use it for many different aspects of handling audio files. For the most part I am happy with the art Microsoft found. Mp3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of audio files.
